Instructions:
You may download the 381 mb Windows Media file full length version of "The Line in the Sand" (107 min) directly from this site. In addtion, you may download the 707mb DivX file for the Short Version (66 min.) directly from this site. If you use Firefox, hold down the "shift" key and click the left mouse button on the appropriate download link below. Those of you with Internet Explorer should click on the appropriate link with the right mouse button and then click "save target as" on the menu that appears and select the download directory on your computer.
You will need a high speed internet connection - ISDN, DSL, Cable modem or faster to download the file in a reasonable time.
A DivX copy of "Birth of A Nation" is available for download by bittorrent below. The file is 1.5 gigs and is encoded to "home theatre quality" standards and may be copied directly to a DVD disk and played on a DivX enabled DVD player connected to your TV set or played on your computer with the free DivX player available at DivX.com. The Phillips 3962 DVD player available at Wallmart for $39 is an excellent DivX player. To download a copy of "Birth of A Nation" you will need to download and install peer to peer client software. I recommend uTorrent 1.7.7. Be sure you have anti-virus and anti-spyware active when you download using the torrents.
Once you have installed the software, you should download the small Torrent file below and use it to begin your peer-to-peer download of the complete movie file. When your download is complete, please leave a copy of the file in place, and your connection open so that others may download from you.
We urge you to burn as many copies of "The Line in the Sand" as you wish and distribute them to friends or the public. However, you may not use these files to encode, author, or distibute any other copy of the movie, nor may you publicly exhibit or commercially exploit the film in any way without written permission from Yggrdrasilfilms.
